Dryer Sheet turned Faux Plastic, and Copic Air Colouring a Matching Envelope

Welcome to my Craft Room today. We are going to use Dryer Sheets to produce Faux Plastic from our Die Cuts. Copic Air Colouring to match our colourful Prima Watercolored Envelope. I used Penny Black Dies, Lawn Fawn Curve Tulip Die, Altenew Sentiment, and my Copic Airbrush System to colour the Flip on the Envelope to match the Card we watercolored. I hope that you will enjoy the process.

  1. What an interesting technique, Carol! I am swooning over the envelope :) Just beautiful! I have had my eye on that particular die, too, or at least a similar one.

Question about the paper towels...I tried it, but my towels came apart. Admittedly I used cheap towels. Could that be the problem?

    1. I think it has to do with the amount of paper towels, and how much water you put on in-between the layers. I had quilted towel, but I don't know if the texture plays a part in the actual bonding of it, or not. Don't give up, I think it depends on the water applied to hold them together.....Please let me know how it turns out.
