How to make an easy step "Boxed Envelope"

Welcome to my Craft Room. I was asked to make a Box Envelope for my friend Marla. I was given the measurement of 5 12" X 7 12". I haven't made my own Box Envelope, because it is easy to make a box, with an acetate lid. This was a wonderful challenge for me. I first had to find a card that measured close to Marla's card, and one that had a lot of embellishment's on it as well. haha I found both, and started this journey. I couldn't fine my Martha Stewart triangle to use the MS Score Board, but did have my WAMK Envelope Punch Board to use for this project. I figured it out however, that whatever the depth is you have, just add 1/4 " to it, then score. I said 1/2" all the way through the video, but it is 1/4" added to the depth of your card.....hahaha I do hope this helps to view what I am trying to do .....Huge Smiles here. It was a wonderful challenge for me, instead of using boxes all the time for my deep embellished cards. Yay!

Double Waterfall Album Graphic 45 Raining Cats and Dogs Collection

Welcome to my Craft Room this evening. I am working on a Double Waterfall Album, instead of organizing my craft room today. haha I thought I would share the progress with you. Everything was going wrong, and I almost set it aside for a future project. I got to thinking how we all make mistakes, and what if we didn't share how we remedied them with other's???  Well, today, I am sharing how everything seemed to go wrong, yet I kept working on it, and I am delighted with the progress. Thank you for joining me.

Brush Lettering, and Calligraphy Practice

Good Morning, and welcome to my Craft Room. Today is a fun "practice" day with my different marker's. This is in no way a teaching tutorial, because I was just having some fun experimenting with different pens. I hope you are inspired to take out some of your marker's, and just play with them. I didn't have much success with my Calligraphy nib, but it sure was fun to practice some letter's, and get back into some lettering. Thank you as always for joining me today. Have a blessed weekend.

Part 3 The desk is GONE!

Good Evening my friends, it's me again....hahaha Yes, I took the desk out today, because when I added the other units it seemed too congested for me. I like the open space now, and hope that you will agree it had to go. I won't put another video up on this Craft space until it is FINISHED! Thank you for your patience, as I set this crafting are up. I don't have much to unpack, so I will begin creating for a change. Huge Smiles

Part 2 Continuing to set up my new Craft Room

Thank you for joining me for Part 2. I set up my Singer sewing machine, and a new desk. It is coming together slowly. I have a craft video for you tomorrow. It has been awhile since I have been inspired to start a new crafting project. I apologize for that. The moving, and my recent 2 week vacation has set me back in my crafting. I look forward to an extra special crafting video for you tomorrow. I hope you enjoy the journey, as I continue setting up my new space. God Bless

How to draw a Lion.....Beginner Style.... Getting ready for my "Pebeo" Canvas

Welcome to my Craft Room today. I am going to begin a Canvas using my wonderful gift of "Pebeo" Paints I received from Marie for my Birthday. I want to do a wildlife themed Canvas using a Lion, plus 3 or 4 other wildlife animals. This is a step by step easy tutorial that anyone can do with just a few pencil's, and the outline shown here to get great proportional animals. I saw this video about a year ago, and told myself I would try to draw this using his technique to draw a Lion. It wasn't that difficult, so I wanted to inspire you to give it a go. You will love drawing it with this method. I will be drawing another animal in Part 2, and begin the Canvas with these AMAZING paints. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBcEuINB6tU This is the video I watched. I was inspired today to try it. Hope you enjoy!

The NEW, and OLD craft space coming together. Happy Birthday Gifts too....What a Blessing!

Welcome to my NEW Craft Room today. I haven't created a video in so long. It was so exciting to do my first video in my new room for you today. I didn't have much time to do it, so I am sorry if it seems so quick. I haven't done much more to the new room, since I was flying out just two weeks prior to getting my island set up.  I am  going to work on it more next week. I am showing what I have left to do in my old craft room, to move over to this one. The next thing I would like to do is pick out an area rug. I want to pull in the colour turquoise, like my antique typewriter you see on my jewelry box stand. What do you think about that idea?  I am going to miss my previous room however, even with the slanted ceilings, and the carpet I was vacuuming so much of the time!!!! hahaha The Lord gave me that beautiful space to create, and do video's for the past 3 years. I Praise Him for my very own space to do what I enjoy, and that is "CREATE". It doesn't matter how big our space is, or how pretty, because it is OUR personal space to create, right?  I don't want to sound like I didn't appreciate the previous space, because I really "LOVED" every single second I spent creating in there. It was my "haven of rest". Everything was organized well enough, that I could find anything, at any given moment. I am so lost now, with all this space around me...hahaha. Remembering, that I am going to have two walls with cupboards, and counter tops, so I need to get my other units  moved over this week, and decide where they will go, and fill them up with their supplies. This second floor was intended to be a kitchen, like in days gone by, so when our son was renovating this portion, he designed it with "kitchen" in mind. I will have a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and sink all to myself. Isn't that an awesome idea? I have a beautiful bathroom beside me here too, so I don't have anything to complain about, right? hahaha If I get hungry, just go in the fridge. If I need to clean supplies, well.....you understand where I am going with this. The Lord has blessed me with this new space, and beautiful family homestead again. I can't thank Him enough for His goodness. I thank each one of you for your kindness, and subscribing here on my Blog. I consider each of you a huge blessing. You give me an opportunity to share my Faith in Christ, plus my love of creating His beautiful creations.  Thank you for your continual support, and friendship. Have a Blessed weekend. I will see you on the next craft video. God Bless.
