A HAUL, and a GIVEAWAY

Here is a little Haul I was able to do yesterday with my granddaughter Kate. She wanted to do a little shopping, and take me for lunch at the Olive Garden. It just so happened we were very close to Buffalo Stamp and Stuff, and I had 20 minutes to shop, because we had to be home for Kate to go to work. I did a shop in 18 minutes flat....hahaha We are almost at 2016 my friends. Just a few hours to go. I have 2 of my grandchildren staying with us to bring in the New Year. Staying home with family is a great way to bring in the New Year, right???? Huge Smiles

iPad Pro, Pencil, and Keyboard. The new App for the iPad Pro Pencil is amazing too.

Welcome to my craft room this evening. I wanted to share a few Mac items I got for Christmas.  I am looking forward to learning the iPad Pro with the pencil for art work. Thank you as always for sharing some time with me before we enter the year 2016.  Happy New Year my friends. This is just a fun video for you to enjoy. Take care.

A Gift Reveal from a few friends over on Stamp Nation

A Belated Christmas Gift Reveal my friends, and a warm welcome to my Craft Room on Christmas Day. This was a very busy Christmas for me, and I didn't get in my Craft Room, but to vacuum, and straighten up from all the wrapping in there, but unfortunately no crafting video time. I wanted to thank every friend that took the time to make me a card, and package up a surprise gift for me this Christmas. I was totally overwhelmed to say the least. I received so many cards this year from friends all over the world. My soul was overwhelmed at the thoughtfulness that went into each, and every card, plus gift packages. I don't think that I mentioned this on my Blog, but I lost a very close, dear friend to Cancer just before Christmas. My friend was my #1 Subscriber, and watched every single video of mine from her home in Georgia. She told me just before going to Heaven that my video's gave her hope, and joy while she was going through Chemo, and all that follows. The day that my sweet friend passed away, my husband left for Georgia to perform her funeral. He drove straight through, and it took 19 hours from our home to theirs. We live in Ontario, as most of my friends know, so the drive was a long one, and at my friends request to have my husband perform her ceremony, he graciously set out to fulfil  the wishes of my sweet friend Freddie. Those close to her called her Freddie, but her birth name was Cecelia. Being a Cancer Survivor myself, I walked this journey with her each step of the way, knowing how she was battling to sustain her dignity, and true Southern lady like charm, that drew so many to her throughout her stay on this earth. She was a Born Again Christian, and I look forward to seeing her again when the Lord calls me Home to Glory one day. I wanted to share this with you, as loyal Subscriber's, and friends, you will understand why I was absent for a brief period of time doing my Craft Video's for you. I look forward to a Blessed New Year, with many craft idea's, and inspiration for all that follow my Channel. God Bless you dear friends, and may the Lord keep you safe, and healthy as we enjoy our crafting journey together.

Make an Elegant Christmas Card in 10 minutes...that was my goal!

Welcome to my Craft Room today. I decided to challenge myself to make a Clean & Simple Card in 10 minutes this evening, and this was the final outcome. I went to a store yesterday to purchase some chocolate for my baking, and while standing in line this idea came to my mind. Isn't it funny how as card maker's our mind is always thinking of ways to create cards. I could not wait to get started, and push myself to not only make another Clean & Simple Card, but to do it as close to 10 minutes as I could get. The card is still drying, but the look is so elegant, that I am going to make 5 more to hand out at Christmas. Thank you so much for your support, and for subscribing to my Blog. It means so much to me. Have a wonderful weekend, and I will see you on my next project.

Christmas Poinsettia Woodgrain Card.....My version of a "Clean and Simple" Card

Good Morning, and welcome to my craft room. I decided to make some "Clean and Simple" style cards this week, after viewing The 12 Tags of Christmas. I took the Tag on page 2, and made a card from viewing Kittie's tag. Her Blog can be found here to view some of her amazing Card Creations. I have decided to take the Tag idea's, and incorporate them into card designs this week. I hope that you will enjoy them throughout the week, and go over to see some of the Tags for yourself. I am sure that you already subscribe, but just in case you don't, I am leaving the Link here for you. Have a wonderful week of Craftiness.

Painting with Pan Pastel's

Thank you for joining me in my Craft Room today. A few friends on Stamp Nation asked if I would show how these Pan Pastel's work, after seeing me buy them in a Haul video. I went on a site called Improve My Paintings to get some inspiration, before starting this painting. I enjoyed the instructor of Pan Pastel's, and learned some interesting tips to help me along. I hope this will be inspirational as I try these for the first time. I am not claiming to be any kind of artist.  I am however,  someone that loves to try new art mediums, and have fun experimenting with them. See you on the next video. Have a Blessed week.

Part 2 of 2 Rose Candle Trifold Acetate Card

Here we are back again in my Craft Room for Part 2 of 2. I really hope that you enjoy the final project as much a I do. smiles This card was a joy to create for you, and my friend Janet. Have a blessed weekend. See you on the next video. Thank you to all my Subscriber's. Take Care

Rose Candle Holder Trifold Card Part 1 of 2

Thank you for joining me in my Craft Room today. I have been working on the Gift Card for my friend Janet, who is flying in to spend next week crafting with me. It is a labour of love card for sure, as I have been creating it for the past week now. haha I had this creation in my head for the longest time, and wanted so much to create it for her. I wanted an acetate Rose holder, that I could place a battery operated candle underneath, so the Roses I created lit up, and also the stamped images I created as well. I have many technique's, and elements that were a must to make this work for me. I haven't seen anything like it, which really makes it extra special for me. I do love creating cards that are designs in my own head...hahaha, and this is one of them. Thank you for letting me share this one with you. It was filmed over days, so the edit process was intense, trying to make it fit in a reasonable time limit for you to watch. I managed to bring hours of filming down to these 2 Parts. Thank you for joining me here with the first part. I hope you will like it as much as I did creating it for you, and for Janet. I hope it will inspire you, to create one like it, for that special someone. In my case, this is for my very dear friend Janet. She will be flying here to spend the week crafting with me in my craft room. I wanted to make her this extra special card to go along with our extra special Crafting Week. See you on Part 2.

Shopping Day with my Sister

Good Morning my Blogging friends, and welcome to my Craft Room today. Before I begin another project to share with you today, I thought I would share my day out with my sister yesterday, as we went shopping for the sheer fun of shopping together. We not only went to to Sharon's store, Buffalo Stamps and Stuff, but also went to Tuesday Morning, which is just a few buildings up from Sharon's. We went grocery shopping, and out for lunch, and 7 hours later arrived back home with parcels in hand. Phew, that was a L O N G day on my feet, yet we laughed, and laughed, and just had good old fashioned FUN together. Here, I would like to show you the few things I bought for my craft room....smiles See you on the next crafting video.

Poinsettia Decorative Ribbons Clasps for my Tone on Tone Christmas Card

Thank you so much for joining me in my Craft Room today. This is another Tone on Tone Card, that I wanted to dedicate to my sweet Mom, who is in Heaven. I used to make her very intricate cards at Christmas, because she enjoyed them so much. I thought that I would sit in my Craft Room, and go down memory lane, as I made this card with my Mom in mind. I hope that you will enjoy the process with me. I decided to made clasps to hold the card shut, and to decorate them with the lovely Shimmer Paper, and the GinaK Paper in Burgundy. It is from her Pure Luxury Line. I hope this will inspire you to do the decorative closures on your next Christmas Card. Have a Blessed Lord's Day tomorrow, and we will see you on the next video.

White on White Shaker Card

Welcome to my Craft Room my friends, with a White on White Shaker Card from the Papertrey Ink Kit. I had so much fun today, setting out to create a card from this Kit I received some time ago. I  never got around to using it until today.....I don't know what took me so long to get it out. I love Tone on Tone Cards, and this card was a White on White 51/2 x 51/2 inch, using 140lb. card stock to set the base of a pretty Shaker, from this amazing Kit. I hope that you will find some inspiration, and give this technique a try. I know that you will fall in love with this Papertrey Ink Kit after seeing how simple it is to build a shaker from scratch. Thank you as always for taking the time to view my video. Blessings....HERE is the video of my Papertrey Ink Shaker Kit if you are interested. smiles

Interactive Floating Bell Card using the Minc Machine

Thank you for joining me in my Craft Room today. Here is a Christmas Card using the wonderful Minc Machine for Gold Foiling Fun. I made a large size card, to fit the interactive floating bell inside the cut out panel, so it would spin freely. There are some inlay elements as well, that add such dimension to the whole layout of the card. I did raised emboss, and placed elements on top for interest as well. I hope that you enjoy the process. Thank you as always to my subscriber's, and I will see you on the next video. God Bless

Thank you once again for joining me in My Craft Room. This card was made for Cancer Month, and in Loving Memory of my Best Friend, and Mom, who went to be with the Lord. Cancer has touched my family, and I a Cancer Survivor. I pray for all those that are traveling this journey, and for those that have been grieving over those that did not survive. May God bring you closer to Him, so Jesus can heal your broken heart, as He has mine. I pray this is a Blessing to all that watch. My Card today, was inspired by a lady I just met over on her Blog, named Kittie Caracciolo. She is a DT member for Ellen Hutson. I would love for you to go and visit her, and show her some extra appreciation for the wonderful work Kittie creates for us to enjoy. Thank you to my subscriber's, and may God Bless. Welcome to my Craft Room. Today I will show you how I took a card I made early this week, and was definitely not happy with. Fish Tank Card Part 1 of 2

Thank you for joining me in my Craft Room. I am having so much fun with these Tri Colour Pencil's I bought a few days ago. The way they apply three colour's at one time is wonderful. I used Copic marker's with them also. I am making a fish tank, using the FUSE tool, which will allow me to get the look of water in the tank when I add the fish. I can't wait to decorate the fish tank in Part 2. I will add the Crazy Birds to the card just for fun, and added interest. Here I am preparing the fish, adding Zentangling to each of them, before I colour with my Copic's, and these amazing Tri Colour pencil's. Please enjoy, and I will see you in Part 2.

Stamp of Approval Kit has arrived, and tiny haul today.

Welcome to my Craft Room today. I received my Stamp of Approval Kit to-day, as I returned home from purchasing a few vintage trunks to store some of my craft supplies. I have been purging my craft room for the last 8 days.Working some 12 hour days, trying to create a more organized setting, which will help to find supplies more quickly. I began this journey, taking out some of my storage units, and getting some better storing solutions to replace them. My goal was to make my room more organized, so I could find my products more easily. I am happy with the results, and will be posting a Craft Room Tour, before and after video soon. I decided to go with my camcorder setup here, where I use the goose neck clip overhead, and rearranged my lighting to see if it helps the quality of my video's, and gives you a better view of the projects I create. Please let me know if you like this new setup. I appreciate all my subscriber's, and want to make viewing my video's enjoyable. Thank you as always.

Purging and reorganizing my Craft Room. Oh yes, I had to run out and do a Haul for you today. hahaha

Welcome to my Craft Room. For the last 3 days I have been purging my craft room of all unnecessary  craft products that have been laying around, and seldom used. I am replacing most of my paper lines, and getting new inks. I was looking for a specific thing on Thursday for my craft card, and for the life of me I couldn't find it. I took a step back, and realized I needed to do something about it asap. It is so funny, because in the middle of organizing, and purging my room, I ran out and bought some more craft supplies. hahaha I am going to do a before and after Room Tour in a few weeks,  just to encourage those that think it can't be done. I had so much in my room you could not move. smiles Now, I have space to walk around, and everything is labelled, and in its rightful place. It will take me 2 more weeks to label all my stamps and dies, when the units get here. I am looking forward to organizing those as well. As a natural hoarder, I want to encourage you to let go of things you think you may use, but don't...haha, and let someone else enjoy it instead. Huge Smiles. It is fun actually to see what we really don't use. I will see you on the Craft Room Redo Tour in a few weeks. Take Care

Zig PURR-fect Watercolour Pens making Kitty Fun-Fur look real, using Wink of Stella Clear

Welcome to my Craft Room this evening. I found this fun Kitty Set in my stash, and couldn't wait to use my Zig Watercolour 60 Set. I used my clear Wink of Stella to move the watercolour around, and it did not let me down. I tried to achieve a look of real fun kitty fur, hoping this will help you when you are painting on black fun fur also. I tried to add a few tips, and tricks I have learned practicing with them. I will include the picture, and the itemized list of items used on the Kitty to get the black, fun fur look. These few items will help make black fur, hair, whatever you need textured, look real.  Smiles Thank you as always for taking the time to view my video's. See you on Part 2, the Envelope with Copic's.

No Line Coloring Scenic Card Part 3 of 4

Welcome to my Craft Room. I finally was able to get the 4 part video up and running today. Here is the long version of the third part video. I have so many technique's I wanted to present throughout this process, that it took me a little longer to get all of the card style completed. I decided to do a voice over video for the final part of the card. I was thinking of doing a small giveaway for the person that can name all the techniques I used on throughout this Scenic Card. What about a nice stamp set? It is easy to mail out to the WINNER. Please leave me a comment letting me know your thoughts on a giveaway. I should have the final portion of this card up shortly. See you then.
