American Flag using Crayons, and Hot Plate

Thanks again for joining me in my Craft Room. This hot plate, and crayon technique is totally awesome. I used the Stamin Up Stencil, to create the American Flag. I went to get the stars, and thought the set didn't come with stars, because I didn't see it in the bag. The reason is I set it on the desk, and neglected to look for it. hahaha I improvised with something else however. When I was cleaning up after the Flag was completed, there it was right on my desk. haha

Hot Plate Crayon Art

Good Morning, and welcome to my craft room. This is the coolest technique that I learned on the Frugal Crafter Blog. I had a hot plate new in my craft room drawer, and never used. Fancy that! I always ran down the stairs to heat my tea in the microwave before crafting, and right beside me, out of sight, was this hot plate. I was watching Lindsay over on her blog, do an amazingly sweet card using this concept, and couldn't wait to try it for myself. You will be amazed at the textures you can produce, along with the shading, just with a hot plate, and Crayola Crayons. Thanks Lindsay, and if you are looking for an amazing eye catching card technique, look no farther. Enjoy!

Beginning stages of an 8" x 28" Mixed Media Canvas

Thank you for joining me this evening to start on my Mixed Media Canvas. I also did an appearance to chat with my RAK PAKKER'S ...lol..I seldom appear before the camera, unless I'm signing for the deaf. This was not planned, believe you me...haha...It was so hot I'm my craft room, that I was sweating, just preparing to begin this Canvas, and getting out the supplies I needed...lol...I guess last minute decisions are sometimes the best.. I looked like a deer staring into a set of high beam truck lights...lol...lol...I felt compelled to thank everyone that joined the July 15th RAK .....So, remember...I have pneumonia, and it was very warm in my Craft Room...lol...lol...and it was not rehearsed...haha...I always admire crafter's that are comfortable on camera preparing their projects....I'm not one of them, as you can see.......hahaha....God Bless you for your support, and subscribing to my Blog!

Baby Block Card

Welcome to my Craft Room this evening...I had such fun assembling this baby block card, THREE TIMES...lol..because I goofed it up, and had to restart my camera, over, and over...lol...I really do have to learn to use my new Camcorder, with the pause button.....haha! Anyway, I saw this Baby Block Card on Pinterest, and had to try it with Stampin Up's new Baby Stamp Set, with matching Dies. I also love the new ink colours this year...especially the Blackberry Bliss...just yummy! I tried these paper bows on my We Are Memory Keeper's Envelope  Board, that my friend Debbie bought me last year for my Birthday! Thank you Debbie! I saw these paper bows on Pinterest some time ago, and wanted to show you some pretty bows I was able to make, using left over scraps. With having Pneumonia, and on bed rest this past week, I've watched loads of talented people showing how to create many beautiful craft projects. The Baby Block Card was one of them...I hope you will watch Part 2, where I show you the assembly part, which uses most of the Baby Set Stamps, Inks, and matching Dies. This is an amazing Card when finished! You really don't want to miss Part 2, where I pull everything together, making the reveal a simply AMAZING Block Card! Thank you as always for taking the time to view my video's. I am very thankful!
