Beginner Level Watercoloring Frothy Waves, and Puffy Clouds

Welcome to my Blog today. I decided to do a Watercolour Painting for you. I find two things we as artist's struggle with when watercoloring at times, that is painting frothy waves, and puffy clouds. hahaha....I find watercoloring such a relaxing way to keep my Mojo in tact, yet stimulating my creativity at the same time. Before I called it an evening last night, I got out my supplies to do a quick tutorial for you this morning, in hopes of inspiring you to possibly do this in a small CARD style project. I am going to do that on a 6x6 watercolour card later in the week. smiles I hope you enjoy the process as much as I enjoyed creating it for you. How to fix a card gone wrong......

Welcome to my Blog, and this "How to fix it" card tutorial. I entered this card into the WCMD Challenge. It really was a challenge in every sense of the word. It gave me problems from the beginning. As you know I struggle with this style of card, and this tutorial proves it. haha  I just find it difficult to leave "white" card stock, simply that...."WHITE"...haha I hope this tutorial will encourage you, the next time you are having problems with a design. After some regrouping, this Clean and Simple card came together so I could enter it. Smiles..... Have a great week, and I will see you on the next tutorial. smiles

FILL A BAG FOR 10 BUCKS....AGAIN!

A warm welcome my friends to my Craft Room. I was visiting my sister on Saturday for a luncheon. After our visit, I decided to go home the route where that Thrift Store had the last "FILL A BAG" for 10 bucks sale. Well, there it was for all to see, FILL A BAG FOR 10 BUCKS! My truck made a quick right turn, parked, and I was filling a bag before you could count to ten. hahahaha Here is everything I could squeeze into my plastic bag. Wow, it was such a blessing for me. You will see why at the end of the video, where my best buy is revealed. hahaha Thanks as always for spending time with me on my silly shopping sprees .....huge appreciation to you all.....

World Card Making Day Challenge "Flags"

Today is the final day at Catherine Pooler's site, "Stamp Nation" where I was a Guest Designer for World Card Making Day which began Friday, and finishes up today. I made this card for the "Flag" Challenge. I already posted my Guest Design Team Canada Card, so the natural Flag for me to create as a second card was the Great USA Flag. As a Christian, and Canadian, it was an Honour to design the Flag of the United States of America. It is steeped in Christian beginnings, and represents the Freedom we all possess "One Nation Under God". I hope you are inspired by it. With Thanksgiving coming our way, I thought this would be a marvellous card to send out to family, and friends. God Bless America, and my Homeland, Canada.
