Thrift Store Haul

Thank you so much for joining me this evening. Well, my BFF Cathy from PA, came down to Canada to visit me yesterday, and today. We decided to go Thrift Store Shopping. I have one thing on my mind, and that was to get home before noon. I didn't want to be on my feet all day, and I wasn't feeling very well today. I did have a list of project supplies I wanted to look for, and after breakfast we set out to accomplish our goals. My list consisted of a Wedding Gown for me to cut the Appliqué from for my Album Projects. I also wanted to add as many Doilies to my ever growing Doily Stash today. The next thing on my list was trims. I wanted to see how many beautiful trims I could find in the three Thrift Stores we set out to shop in. I prayed about it before leaving, that I would not get side tracked, and the Lord answered my prayers. In 2 hours, I had everything on my list, and we were home for lunch....hahaha What a wonderful day with my BFF friend Cathy. We had a day of laughing, and shopping. You can't get any better that that, right? Enjoy

2008 Stampin' Up Fire Brigade Technique Card Part 1 of 2

A warm welcome to my Craft Room this evening. I am finally back to my Craft Room creating a card for my husband's niece, who is a Fire Fighter. She was the first responder to arrive at  our home last week, when I collapsed, and found myself riding in the back of an Ambulance on route to the hospital. Finding a heart valve issue, and suffering from a severe case of Bronchial Pneumonia, while moving to the farmhouse, in over 100 degree weather, caused me to simply collapse. I am home now, on antibiotics, and recovering well. I appreciate all you prayers. I do look forward to many more projects in the near future. I am getting stronger every day. This was a fun project for me, as I was able to experiment with different technique's. I hope you will enjoy today's card, and I will see you tomorrow for Part 2. Have a blessed week.

Vintage Style/ Shabby Chic Card....Plus....Washy Tape Idea's

Welcome to my Craft Room today. It has been a long overdue video, due to the fact I am in the process of moving. I had to take some time to create last night, and put together some Vintage /
Shabby Chic Card idea's for a Card I need for a friend.  I thought it would be helpful when you begin to create Vintage Style Cards. I also wanted to share this Washy Tape Foil idea I saw over on Shellie's Channel   Shellie makes adorable projects, and this foiling idea came from her. I had so much fun creating this project, and I hope you will enjoy it as well. Happy 4th of July to all my American friends. I pray all my Canadian friends enjoyed Dominion Day along with me. This is a 2 part video, so I hope to post the finished card as soon as I have time in between moving this week. Thank you everyone for your patience as I get settled in our home. Take care friends.
