Prima Opal Paints....Card #2 A Warm Vintage Look

Welcome for the second card on the White Card Stock. I liked this for a different reason, and it was the soft tones of the Prima Opal Paints on White. I hope that you enjoy this one, as much as the Black Card. I had fun showcasing this wonderful Product. Thank you for all your encouragement, and support with my channel. Have a blessed weekend my friends.

Prima Opal Acrylic Paints using the Stampin' Up Corner Garden Stamp

Welcome to my Craft Room my friends. Today I wanted to Showcase the beautiful Prima Opal Acrylic Paints, using the Stampin' Up Corner Garden Stamp. You will be amazed at the way these paints work on "White", and "Black" Card Stock. I was amazed at the vibrancy, and the opacity of these Acrylic Paints. You get one colour using the same paint bottle on white, and out of the same bottle comes a different colour on black. I hope you enjoy this card.

Canadian Dollar Store Haul....and gab fest...haha

Welcome back to my crazy Dollar Store Haul, where nothing is a "Dollar".....Enjoy

Reversed Die Bleaching Technique....From Dies to Stencil's....

Good Afternoon my friends, and welcome to my Craft Room. I want to show you how you can take your dies, and turn them into amazing Stencil's. Yes, that's right, STENCIL'S. I was experimenting with this to see if I turning my dies over, and bleached inside the spaces, if it would be vibrant, and have wonderful clarity....YAY, it worked. Think of all the possibilities to add your dies to your embossing folder collection? I am so happy to share the last in my Clean and Simple Watercolour Distress Panels. I have the other 4 posted, if you would like to check them out. I hope that you give this technique a try, and enjoy the video today.

Haul video from Buffalo Stamps and Stuff, and Tuesday Morning

Thanks so much for joining me today, for this my second of three Haul video's. This one is long, so please put the kettle on, and join me with a spot of tea, or if you prefer...a coffee...haha. I had so much fun yesterday. I suffer from Barometric Migraines, and I have had my share the past few months. It has kept me down for 2 to 3 days at a time. I haven't been out due to snow, and freezing weather, so you can image how much fun it was to just take a day, and go shopping. I had lunch with the owner of Buffalo Stamps and Stuff, and her friend Tula. We laughed, and shared CHA goodies that Sharon brought back with her, and overall just had fun. I couldn't wait to get home, and rest however. I do plan on using some of them soon. I am heading out for dinner with my 3 sister's tonight. We make a point of going out for dinner once a month, as a promise to our sweet Mom before she went to Heaven two years ago. It was very important for Mom to know that her girls would remain close. I am trying to get these video's up, and get myself ready for another evening of FUN, AND LAUGHTER. I am the oldest of the 4, so it takes me a little while longer to get ready to go out...hahahahaha Enjoy my friends.

Vintage Finds from Thrift Stores

Hi everyone, and sorry for the inconvenience here on my video. I took down the 28 minute video, because after watching it, I knew I had to condense it down so to save you your valuable time viewing it. I made it into an 8 minute video, and saved you 20 minutes...haha This way you can watch the other 2 HAUL video's going up soon....Hope you will enjoy.

A Little Vintage Find...Isn't the colour pretty?

Hi everyone, and thanks to all my new, and not so new subscriber's. I have been out all day today, as I had to go to a Dr.'s appointment. On my way home, I stopped by our Antique Shop, where I found this little treasure, and it now sits in my Craft Room. It is a heavy little typewriter too. Metal is hard to find in the new one's today, isn't it? I love filling my Craft Room with anything "Vintage", like me...hahaha I also went over to Buffalo Stamp and Stuff, and had lunch with the owner, Sharon. She showed me all the new products she brought back from CHA, and tomorrow I will do a Haul video for you, along with the last of my 5 CAS Cards. I apologize for being a few days late on that one. I will catch up tomorrow. I left the house at 9:00 a.m., and got home in time to get dinner on the table, and catch up on my wonderful comments.....Thanks for dropping by, and I am going to surprise you with some pretty crafts this week. See you there......

100 year old Apothecary find for my Craft Room. 9 Feet Long, and 60 deep drawers.

One more picture before I call it a night. haha I have a few video's for you tomorrow, so I have to get some rest...hahah Here is my 60 drawer, over 100 year old Apothecary I have bought from an auction. It is original, from a Drug Store they were demolishing, and I had to have it in my Vintage Craft Room. The bidding began, and as you can see, I bought it. It took days to clean, and wax. I waxed it over 5 times to get it shining. It is 9 feet long, 60 deep drawers, and stores my paints, ribbons, and things. I did calligraphy on each drawer, so I knew the contents. As you can tell, I am a Vintage, Antique's, and Thrift Store searcher of treasures. I just bought 2 matching Lakeside Parlour Chairs in mint condition for my Craft Room. I found them at an Antique Shop in town yesterday. I will post pics...I think you will fall in love with them, as I did at first glance.

Mixed Media Canvas I created for my Granddaughter...The Beginning Stage to the Finished Project.

This is another Mixed Media Canvas I made for my Granddaughter' room. It represented all the thing she enjoys. The top canvas is the preparation stage, where I pick out some fun things from my stash, and then I grab my Mod Podge, Gesso, and Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays to finish. I hope you enjoy seeing the process ....I love doing Mixed Media.

The Before and After of my "STILLNESS" Canvas

Mixed Media Canvas Before adding the Gesso, showing all the yumminess not sprayed and painted. I thought that you might enjoy seeing the process of a Mixed Media piece I did in memory of my Mother. The top Canvas is before adding Gesso, and spraying with Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays. Hope you like it. I wanted to show you how you can apply any medium to the Canvas, then add Gesso, and paint, spray, and have fun making it your own.

Dollar Store Box turned Jewelry Box

Good Evening Friends. I am sharing a dollar store box I bought, so I could do some mixed media fun with it, and present it to my daughter- in- law for her Birthday. Little stuff from my stash, turned this simple box, into a place for her to store jewelry. A fun project in a few hours.

My Homemade GESSO Recipe

Hi everyone, and a huge hello to my new Subscriber's. I wanted to post my recipe for making my own Gesso here today. I like to make my own, because of affordability, and I get to control the thickness. It lasts a long time in a Mason Jar. I have had some jars over a year, and when I open it, they are as smooth as can be, just like the day I made it. Please enjoy.

1/4 Cup of Water
1/4 Cup of Elmer's White Glue ....any white glue will do.
1/4 Cup of Baby Powder....I use Dollar Store BP
1/2 Cup of Acrylic White Paint.... I use the cheapest brand I can find....

Place the water, and the baby powder in a jar, with the lid secure, shake it all up. Now, add the glue, and shake it some more...stir if you like, just make sure it is all mixed well. Now the paint is added. I take a wooden stick to mix it up. I add more baby powder to the mixture until I am satisfied with the consistency. I like my Gesso THICK. I can always thin it with water when I need it thinner. You can substitute the white paint for any colour you like. Black will need to be thick, because I add more to the mix just before I start to apply it to my canvas...Makes it look so much darker this way. I hope this helps, and if you have any questions, please leave them for me, and I will get back to you, as soon as I can. Take care.

"Calm before the Storm" Card created with Stampscape Stamp Sets.

Good Morning my wonderful friends, and welcome to my Craft Room. Today I will showing a card I created using Stampscapes Stamp Sets, I called, "Calm before the Storm. This is the first card I made using the Stampscapes Sets, wanting to practice which Inks would work best on Glossy Card Stock, using these wonderful stamps. I cased this card from the Stampscape Site, and added my own style as it progressed. I had so much fun experimenting, I thought I would put the video up, and let you view the fun I had. It was so much fun to see which inks I could use on the Glossy Card Stock. I can't wait to do a Wilderness Scene on my next card, using bright Inks to pop the Stamps off the Glossy paper. I hope you enjoy the process. God Bless, and have a blessed week.

Vintage Shadow Art Card with Brusho Powders

Thank you for joining me in my Craft Room today. I have been absent due to the flu, and migraine for the last 4 days. I wanted to complete the Brusho Powder card for you today, as I was feeling so much better. I have spent the week in bed, and that is no fun at all. My migraine left yesterday, so I took a day to rest, and then ran in my craft room to complete the card for you today. Thank you as always for your support, and subscribing to my Blog. Have a blessed week, and we will see you on the next video. Take care my friends.
